Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 12, 2026
This policy explains what information Castle Darkmoor Games ("we", "us") collects when you visit castledarkmoor.com or play our games, and how we use it. We keep this short because we collect very little.
1. Who is responsible
Castle Darkmoor Games is responsible for the processing of your data. You can reach us at info@castledarkmoor.com.
2. Our website
- No tracking. Our website does not use analytics tools, advertising trackers, social media plugins or cookies.
- No third-party fonts or scripts. Fonts, images, music and videos are served from our own website.
- Server logs. Like every website, our hosting provider may automatically record technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the time of your visit. This is needed to deliver the website securely and is deleted after a short period.
- Music and video only start when you press play.
3. When you email us
If you write to us, we use your email address and the content of your message only to reply to you. We do not add you to any mailing list without your clear consent, and we delete the correspondence when it is no longer needed.
4. Our games
- Tome of Ruin (PC / Steam) stores your save games and settings only on your own device. The game itself does not send personal data to us.
- Purchases and accounts are handled by the store you buy from (for example Steam by Valve Corporation). Their own privacy policies apply to that data. We may receive anonymous sales statistics from the store, but no personal payment data.
- Future mobile versions (Android and iOS) may use additional services. Before they are released, this policy will be updated to describe them.
5. Children
Our website and games are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To use any of these rights, contact us at info@castledarkmoor.com.
7. Changes
We may update this policy when our website or games change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
