Castle Darkmoor Games develops and publishes the game Tome of Ruin: The Word Dungeon. You can reach us at info@castledarkmoor.com.
2. Buying and playing our games
Our games are sold through third-party stores such as Steam. When you buy a game there, the store's own terms (for example the Steam Subscriber Agreement) also apply, including its rules on payments and refunds. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to play the game for your own entertainment. You do not buy the game's code or content itself.
3. What you may not do
- Copy, resell or distribute our games or their content without permission.
- Use our games or website for any illegal purpose.
- Try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to our website or services.
4. Fan content and mods
We love seeing what players create. You may make videos, streams, screenshots and fan art of our games and share them, including on monetised channels. Modifications for personal, non-commercial use are welcome, but you may not sell mods or our content, and we are not responsible for problems caused by third-party mods.
5. Intellectual property
Tome of Ruin, Castle Darkmoor Games, our logos, artwork, music, characters and all other game content belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws.
6. Disclaimer and liability
Our games and website are provided "as is". We work hard to keep them running well, but we cannot promise they will always be free of errors or interruptions. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law.
